ABOUT
Auditioned based performing group for 3rd through 5th grade musicians. This talented group performs several times throughout the year at school and community events. This year, the Mustang Chorus rehearsals are held afterschool on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm - 5:15pm.

AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions are held the last week of April and the 2nd week of August each school year.

PARTICIPANT FEE & ATTIRE
A participation fee of $65 is required for those students that audition and are selected to participate. This fee covers their performance attire, performance music, and pre-concert meals (for evening school-based concert performances).

Attire Options are listed below and will be specified by type of performance and date in advance:

• Outfit #1 - Green Chorus Shirt & Black Pants
• Outfit #2 - Blue Chorus Shirt & Blue Jeans
• Outfit #3 - Solid Black shirt & Black Pants (Feb. Black History Concert)

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Participation in this performing group is a privilege and students are expected to carry themselves as leaders - because they represent the Shirley Hills ES both in school and in the community. It is expected that students follow the 5 B's (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Caring, and Be Mindful) as well as the HCSD Student Code of Conduct both in rehearsals and performances. Though it is not intended or desired, behavior concerns can warrant a student being dismissed from the Mustang Chorus group.
