Ms. Wallace began working at Shirley Hills Elementary in 2010 as the School Counselor.  She has 20 years experience as a school counselor, with seventeen of those years being in Houston County.  Ms. Wallace attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and earned her undergraduate degree.  She then continued her education and earned a Masters Degree in Student Personnel Counseling and School Counseling from JSU. After working as a counselor for several years, Ms. Wallace obtained her Educational Specialist Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Ms. Wallace is the mother of two children, Maggie and Reed.  Ms. Wallace loves being the counselor at Shirley Hills Elementary and knows that the students that walk through our door are the absolute BEST in Houston County!
