I was born and raised in South Georgia, Crisp County. I graduated high school in 1990 and went on to pursue degrees in elementary education. I attended Fort Valley State and Piedmont Colleges. I have taught for many years in Crisp and Houston counties. 

Family is very important to me, My husband and I have two children: Joshua and Jhana. We also have two fur babies: Kobe & Bailey.

In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors (the beach), reading, shopping, listening to music & most of all spending time with my family.

I am happy to have been a proud SHES Mustang for many years!
